This is a new feature: Your affirmation of the week.
What is an affirmation?
Have you heard of affirmations? They are simply phrases or sentences that are very positive. They are designed to keep your mind focused upon what you want which helps to block out fear and doubt. In my meditations last week, I was guided to move away from the angel card readings I have been offering each week into an affirmation of the week.
Your weekly affirmation
This week I drew from Louise Hay’s Romance Affirmation Card Deck. I drew on the electronic app which makes it really easy!
Your affirmation is “I have come to this planet to learn to love myself more and to share that love with all those around me”.
I’ve said before that as humans, we all have the same basic need and desire. We want to love and to be loved. This affirmation reminds us that as humans on this planet, our primary goal is to experience love.
Before we can truly share love with those around us, we have to first love ourselves. For many of us, before we can fully love ourselves we have to forgive ourselves. Forgiveness begins with something very simple” a willingness to forgive. The moment you decide you have a willingness, the universe shifts and things begin to change. I’ve written about forgiveness a few times because it’s so important. Most recently, here is a post about why forgiveness is a process rather than an event. But promise you’ll come back!
This weeks affirmation also reminds us to choose loving thoughts toward those around us. We don’t have to be the same, think the same or look the same as other people to be able to love them. We can decide that every human being is worthy of love. We can decide that we want to view many situations through the eyes of love. By doing that, everything will change!
I’d love to know how you like the new affirmations or if you miss the angel card readings. Please leave a comment below.
My mission is to spread love and light far and wide. So if you liked this, please share!
Love and light to you!
