Set up for your meditation.
Sit up straight in your meditation space. Sit cross legged if it’s comfortable for you. I
If you are looking for grounding and focus, place your hands in prayer position at your heart center. If what you need is healing, divine guidance, energy place your hands palm up on your knees in order to receive the energy around you.
If sitting cross legged isn’t comfortable or accessible for you, simply sit in a straight chair. Make sure your spine is straight. Place your hands in prayer position at your heart space or on your knees palm up.
To begin your meditation focus on your breath
As you breath in, inhale to the mental sound of “om”. As you breath out, exhale to the mental sound of “om”. Allow your breathing to slow. Just relax. Trust that you won’t fall asleep and miss something later today. Rest into your guided meditation and trust I’ll bring you back at the end.
If you find you have thoughts floating around, just notice them. Don’t attach or judge them. Just notice and let them go.
